" To be a House of The Lord, sensitive to His leading and guiding,
accomplishing the desires of His heart in watching over
the poor and broken hearted
and leading them into the everlasting love of the Lord Jesus."
HISTORY
In the beginning…
The first stone for King’s Revival Church Mount Lavinia, Sri Lanka was laid at a mere gathering of a handful in the humble home of the parents of Pastor Jerome, in Mount Lavinia. As Pastor Wendy and Pastor Jayalath Fernando opened their doors freely and served God with humility, the church slowly expanded to a congregation of more than fifty.
PASTOR JEROME FERNANDO
Ordained as Senior Pastor
While he was just beginning to make his mark in the garment industry, Pastor Jerome hearkened to the calling of the Lord over his life for full time ministry and obeyed. In 2005, he was duly ordained by the parent church of King’s Revival Church, in Dubai.
SPREADING ROOTS
..
As more and more thirsty souls flocked seeking the love of Christ, the services at Mount Lavinia did not suffice. It was at this junction that the second Sunday service of KRC began at Dehiwala. The growth of the church did not cease there and soon a third service, now at Havelock City, began and recently a fourth service commenced at the heart of Colombo City in Nawam Mawatha as well as a fifth at Negombo.
